Christine Brown, renowned for her role in the reality show Sister Wives, has fulfilled her wedding dreams as she tied the knot with David Woolley. The wedding, a truly magical event, took place in Moab, Utah, and was attended by 330 guests, making it a memorable celebration.

“It’s a fairytale,” Brown exclusively told PEOPLE. “It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”

The festivities for the couple’s nuptials commenced with a scenic dinner cruise down the Colorado River on the night before the wedding. According to Brown, they wanted to share this special moment with as many family and friends as possible, ensuring that the celebration was filled with joy.

Wedding planner Danielle Rothweiler incorporated the natural colors of the breathtaking backdrop, which included rust, dusty rose, mauve, deep plum, and peachy coral. Woolley couldn’t help but praise the stunning scenery, stating that it was truly unparalleled.

This wedding was a dream come true for Christine Brown, who had longed for the experience of wearing a white dress and walking down the aisle with her father. Her son Paedon and her father escorted her to the altar, where she joined David Woolley. Brown’s dress featured a plunging neckline with intricate beading detail, and her hair and makeup were impeccably done.

The couple’s vision for the ceremony was to make it as family-oriented as possible, with kids and grandkids walking down the aisle in between parents, the officiant, and the bride and groom. They exchanged vows under a stunning floral arch overlooking the Colorado River.

After a passionate kiss, they were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Woolley to the cheers of the crowd, accompanied by the iconic “At Last” by Etta James.

Following the “short and sweet” ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a reception under a tent adorned with “breathtaking” lights and flowers. The wedding’s floral design was overseen by Ali McDermott from Magnolia and Lace.

Cocktail hour featured sparkling apple cider, champagne, Moscow mules, and mojitos, followed by a buffet dinner that included roast beef, BBQ chicken, cowboy potatoes, baked beans, and corn on the cob.

Dessert was a highlight, as the couple cut into a three-tier naked cake and Woolley’s Darth Vader-themed groom’s cake, a must-have for the big day.

The love story of Christine Brown and David Woolley began when they met on a dating website in 2022. Brown was captivated by Woolley’s profile, featuring pictures of him with his grandkids, at Disneyland, and on a beach. Woolley, in turn, recognized that Brown was truly special.

Woolley expresses his gratitude, saying, “I’m really very lucky, and very happy that someone let her go, because she’s a unicorn.” Christine Brown was previously in a polygamous marriage with Kody Brown, along with wives Janelle, Meri, and Robyn. They parted ways in 2021 after 25 years together.

Christine and Kody are parents to daughters Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely, and son Paedon. David Woolley, a father of eight, had previously been married before his wife passed away in 2012.

“After my wife passed away, I dated, and I just could never find somebody. I knew Christine was ‘the one,’” Woolley said. “It just feels so right.”

For Christine Brown, David is home. She feels that they create an amazing unity together, and their marriage solidifies their bond, making them a solid unit that can weather any storm.

Woolley proposed to Brown in April, and their love story has been nothing short of magical. They are excited about the wonderful adventure they are embarking on for the rest of their lives, cherishing the love and partnership they have found in each other.

As they celebrate their marriage, Christine Brown and David Woolley are thankful to have found their true partners in each other. Brown sums it up, saying, “I found someone who is everything I’ve been looking for, who is a true partner, and someone who just wants to be with me and loves me for me.”
