‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Breaks Silence on Ex-Wife Christine’s New Marriage to David Woolley

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Sister Wives star Kody Brown has finally opened up about his ex-wife Christine Brown’s newfound marital bliss with David Woolley. Kody admitted that he hasn’t closely observed Christine and David’s relationship, stating, “I honestly haven’t witnessed much of it. Her and I don’t associate almost at all.”

Christine and David’s union took place on October 7, following less than a year of dating. The genesis of their romance stemmed from Christine’s decision to part ways with Kody, concluding a spiritual marriage of 25 years. Their separation occurred in the fall of 2021, prompting Christine to embark on a fresh start in Utah, distancing herself from the polygamous family. Notably, her relationship with David commenced on Valentine’s Day in 2023, although their initial connection was established through a dating app in 2022. David’s proposal to Christine occurred in April.

Christine had previously expressed her enthusiasm for her marriage to David, describing it as a “fairytale” and a realization of dreams. She cherished the prospect of walking down the aisle to her new husband, gushing over the way he looks at her.

However, Kody’s personal life has taken a different turn. After parting ways with Christine, he experienced two more separations as both Meri Brown and Janelle Brown chose separate paths. Consequently, Kody now finds himself with just one wife, Robyn Brown, whom he has been legally married to since 2014.

Tragically, the upheaval has strained Kody’s relationship with Robyn as well. Kody confessed in his recent interview, “Robyn and I are experiencing a death – the death of our family and this grand family picture.” The divorce process has altered him, and he acknowledges the challenges it has imposed on his relationship with Robyn, who has displayed tremendous patience and forgiveness as Kody grapples with his changed identity.

Kody and his four wives share 18 children, and his relationships with several of them have been marred by discord in recent years. Disagreements with his older children on various issues have surfaced, but the COVID-19 pandemic became a significant point of contention. Kody’s strict approach during the pandemic led to a rift with his sons, Gabriel and Garrison, whom he shares with Janelle, due to their differing perspectives on the matter.

Viewers can anticipate these ongoing dramas unfolding in the 18th season of Sister Wives, airing on TLC every Sunday. The show continues to delve into the intricate dynamics and challenges faced by the Brown family.
