Sister Wives’ Robyn Blames Christine for Kody’s Polygamy Spiral: All She ‘Has Done Is Messed Him Up’

In the latest episode of TLC’s reality show “Sister Wives,” tensions within the polygamous Brown family continued to escalate, leading to some pointed accusations and finger-pointing. Robyn Brown, one of Kody Brown’s wives, confronted Meri Brown about the family’s ongoing issues. Meri, who was still in relationship limbo with Kody at the time of filming, had plans to relocate her clothing business to her Utah bed and breakfast and spend more time there.

However, the conversation took a different turn as Robyn and Meri delved into the family’s ongoing turmoil. Both women expressed concern over Kody’s recent anger and emotional changes, which they believed had transformed him from the man they had once fallen in love with. Robyn, in particular, pointed the finger at Christine Brown, who had left Kody in 2021, as the catalyst for Kody’s emotional transformation.

Robyn claimed that Christine’s actions had a profound impact on Kody, asserting that Christine “messed him up” and effectively dismantled what he thought was a functional family situation. She alleged that Christine frequently shared stories of her struggles, which had a negative impact on Kody’s perception of their family life. However, Meri was not entirely in agreement with this perspective. She believed that Christine had frustrations but disagreed with Robyn’s characterization of Christine’s actions as the sole cause of Kody’s emotional state.

In a confessional interview, Meri stated, “I don’t believe that Christine said that every bit of our lives was hell. I believe she had frustrations, and if that’s what Kody interpreted it as and relayed to Robyn as such, I don’t think that’s fair.”

Christine, on her part, vehemently denied being responsible for Kody’s faith crisis. She refuted the idea of being labeled as the scapegoat for his loss of faith, asserting that she never held that much influence over him.

As the blame game continued, Janelle also weighed in, criticizing Robyn for hiring a nanny and suggesting that sister wives should support each other with childcare. She expressed frustration that any mention of issues with Robyn was met with resistance from Kody, who seemed to view Robyn as perfect and loyal.

Robyn defended herself by stating that she didn’t have significant problems with her sister wives and desired better relationships with them. She considered the accusations against her as baseless and believed that the family needed to address their internal issues instead of focusing on her.

Looking ahead, Janelle emphasized the need for a unifying force to bring about positive change within the family. She acknowledged that the family had made mistakes together and urged everyone to stop pointing fingers.

Kody Brown’s marriages to Christine, Janelle, and Meri had all unraveled within a short period of 14 months. Currently, he is only married to Robyn and has transitioned to a monogamous relationship for the first time in decades.

Fans of “Sister Wives” can catch the drama unfold on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC. The show continues to explore the complexities and challenges of polygamous family life, making it a captivating reality series for viewers.
