Christine Brown: I Can Finally Breathe! Life After Kody is Awesome!

Christine Brown’s heart is full of love these days, thanks to her newfound romantic happiness.

As avid followers of the Sister Wives reality show are well aware, Christine, a long-time fixture on the series, made the courageous decision to leave her husband Kody Brown in November 2021. This bold move came after enduring a lengthy period during which both she and her children felt mistreated.

Since parting ways with Kody, Christine has consistently affirmed that her decision was the right one, and her recent actions have spoken even louder than her words. She sealed her commitment to a new chapter in her life by tying the knot with David Woolley.

Following their ceremony and reception, Christine and her new spouse embarked on a romantic honeymoon at the magical Disneyland.

In a heartfelt Instagram caption, Christine shared her philosophy, stating, “I firmly believe in living my life like I believe in Karma. I LOVE my life and it brought me to the love of my life.”

She also expressed her joy with a series of hashtags, including #embracejoy, #karma, #liveyourbestlife, #loveofmylife, #myking, #disneyland, #vacation, and #mykeltiboughtustheseshirts.

Christine’s affectionate terms for David, such as “love of her life” and “soulmate,” have become frequent in her descriptions of him, underscoring her newfound happiness.

Speaking to People Magazine, the 51-year-old Sister Wives cast member shared that she had an epiphany after her split from Kody less than two years ago. She said, “I thought we were open. I thought we knew everything, and I thought that we understood how big this world was,” referring to herself and fellow sister wife Janelle Brown.

“But once I left, I was really like, ‘Oh my gosh, there’s a whole world out here, I feel like I can take a deep breath. And there’s possibilities and there’s amazing stuff on the other side of polygamy.’”

Christine continued, “For me, because I felt so much freedom and so much happiness and so much joy not living it anymore.”

Her journey from a polygamous upbringing to embracing monogamy with David has been a significant transformation in her life.

During the latest episode of Sister Wives, Christine candidly reflected on her decision to move forward despite the challenges of leaving a marriage. She stated, “It sure feels good on the other side. I’m a big fan of divorce. If you’re thinking about it, I say go for it.”

She added, “Do it! You’re already miserable… It might be terrible advice, but I’m not a therapist or a psychiatrist or anything. I just know how it feels on the other side, and it’s awesome.” Christine’s message is clear: her newfound love and happiness have made her a strong advocate for embracing change and seeking happiness, even if it means starting over.
